On June 18th at 8 PM, Roomful of Teeth will present a work-in-progress concert at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. A sell-out last year, the classically trained Roomful of Teeth singers return for an a cappella adventure in which they study and master a variety of different singing styles. Inuit throat singers Evie Mark and Akinisie Sivuarapik will coach the ensemble this year, adding their highly rhythmic and playful singing to the range of Roomful of Teeth styles. The concert consists exclusively of works written for the group, including premieres by composers Caleb Burhans, William Brittelle, Judd Greenstein and members of the ensemble. Family Day Event
Saturday, June 12 at 1:00 p.m
Roomful of Teeth and their Inuit throat-singing guests will present a family-friendly workshop. Partly educational, partly interactive, and wholly entertaining, this event will have the entire room singing in ways new, beautiful and fun. No singing experience necessary. All ages welcome. New York Debut

Roomful of Teeth is thrilled to announce their New York City debut this fall on theNew Amsterdam Records Archipelago concert series at the Galapagos Art Space. On October 30 at 8:00 p.m. we share a bill with the flute/percussion duo Due East. The Archipelago site has ticket information and lots more.
Inaugural Concert: June 2009
Friday, June 26 at 8:00 p.m
Roomful of Teeth performs for the first time on Friday, June 26 at 8:00 p.m. at MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts. The concert features premiere performances of works by Judd Greenstein, Rinde Eckert and Brian Simalchik as well as members of the ensemble. Tickets may be purchased here.
